Behind the Scenes with Trowsholm

From the Shetland Isles, Trowsholm ignites a genre-defying storm. We blend fiddles, accordions, and metal might into a captivating folk metal experience. 

Embracing Viking legends and island folklore, our music weaves tales of trows, mead-soaked celebrations, and epic battles. Lyrics echo ancient spirits, Shetland folklore and history.

Working with local Shetland artist Dirk Robertson for our artworks, we are trying to bring Shetland culture to the forefront of what we do. Songs like "The Blacksmith and the Njuggle" and "Da Trowie Brew" epitomize our commitment to bridging the past and future, uniting cultural legacy with musical innovation.
